Analysis of historic paint scheme in the dining hall to provide information for the reconstruction of the William Wilkins decoration of 1821, an early example of the Greek Revival in Britian. Work involved analysis of paint cross sections, uncovering of original decoration, and consulting with specialist decorators.

SAINT NICHOLAS CHURCH, BRIGHTON

2006 to 2009
Conservation and restoration of the Victorian decoration. This included the painted linoleum panels of the Lady Chapel ceiling, oil on plaster wall paintings, a painted wood ceiling in the nave, and the decorated Rood figures and Rood screen. The project for the east end of the nave won the 2009 Sussex Heritage Award for Ecclesiastical Building.
